🍵Instructions for Ice Cream Pint Cozy Crochet Pattern
For this Ice Cream Pint Cozy Crochet Pattern, we will be working in the round.
Round 1: Make a mr and make sc x6 in the circle. If you find it difficult making a magic ring you can chain 2 and then crochet sc x6 in the second chain from the hook. (6)
Round 2: Sc inc in every sc. (12)
Round 3: Inc, sc. Then repeat until the end of round (18).
Round 4: Inc, sc x2. Then repeat until the end of round (24).
Round 5: Inc, sc x3. Then repeat until the end of round (30).
Round 6: Inc, sc x4. Then repeat until the end of round. IN THE LAST STITCH MAKE A INC (37). The extra increase is so that we have an uneven number of stitches in the round for making the moss stitch in the round.
Round 7: Make a blo sc in every stitch (37)
Round 8: Sc in the next stitch, *then make a ch and skip the following stitch below and make a sc in the next stitch. * Repeat for the rest of the round. To avoid any obvious lines I make the pattern in a continuous spiral so you do not need to sl st to the first stitch in the round.
Tip: You do not want to make your sc and ch stitches tight, you want to do them with a looser tension otherwise it will be hard to slide your pint of ice cream into the cozy.
Round 9-18: Repeat round 8. When you are done with the last round, sl st to the beginning and fasten off the yarn. Then weave in any ends.

🐌Expert Tips
- Keep Tension Consistent: Maintaining consistent tension throughout the project will ensure that your cozy looks neat and fits well. If your stitches are too tight, it could make the cozy difficult to put on the pint, and if they’re too loose, it may not stay in place properly.
- Measure Your Pint Before Starting: Pints can come in slightly different sizes, so it’s a good idea to measure the circumference and height of your ice cream pint before starting your cozy. You can adjust the number of stitches or rows to ensure a perfect fit.
- Use a Stitch Marker: If you're working in the round, a stitch marker can help you keep track of your first stitch in each row. This will prevent you from accidentally skipping or adding extra stitches as you crochet around.
