This F Bomb Crochet Pattern is an easy pattern to make and is perfect for novelty gifts! So let's get started on making one, it'll be done in no time!
You can create a crochet F Bomb from start to finish in about an hour, making it ideal for stocking stuffers and fun gifts. Imagine gifting your sailor-mouthed friend an F Bomb! It’s sure to bring some laughs, and you can toss the F Bomb around for a playful game. Another toss able pattern of mine is the crochet eye pattern, a gruesome alternative to the game "hot potato".
While this F Bomb gift might not be for everyone, it’s a fun present for the right people. The crochet F Bomb is also perfect for holiday markets, as it works up quickly, doesn’t use a lot of materials, and can spread joy to those who enjoy a little humor.
Or, you know, to those who appreciate the letter F and cartoon-like bombs.
But I digress. Onwards to the free pattern!

This part of the pattern is made using rows.
Row 1: Ch x2 +1 (1 is the turning chain, never work in the turning chain!)
Row 2: In the second ch from the hook make a sc. Make another sc. (2) Ch x1 and turn
Row 3-4: Repeat row 2. (2). Ch x1 and turn.
Row 5: Sc x2, then ch x4. (5 +1)
Row 6: In the second ch from hook make a sc. Then sc in the rest of the chs and scs. (5) Ch x1 and turn.

Sewing:
Tie a white piece of yarn to the INSIDE of the gray part. Then take your tapestry needle and pull it through the top of the center to the outer part of the bomb.
Next, sew the gray part to the top of the crochet black sphere. Now it should look like a bomb.
For the final touch, line up the f onto the black bomb, and sew it on. It helps to pin it in place if you can.
Once all the sewing is done, you now are a proud owner of a new f bomb crochet plush.
🐌Expert Tips
- Choose Your Yarn Wisely: Using a thicker yarn will create a sturdier F Bomb. If you want a softer finish, consider a plush yarn.
- Color Combinations: Experiment with different colors for the bomb to create themed variations, such as holiday colors or pastels for spring.
- Add Personal Touches: Personalize your F Bomb by adding embroidered messages or names on the side for special occasions.
- Create a Set: Make a variety of novelty bombs with different letters or symbols to create a fun gift set.
🧵 Pattern FAQs
You can try embroidering the F, surface crocheting the F, or even making a chain and then stitching it in place. While I haven't used these methods, they may work for you!
Absolutely! To make a larger or smaller F Bomb, simply use thicker or thinner yarn and adjust your hook size accordingly. Just keep in mind that you'll also need to modify your stitch counts to maintain the shape.
No worries! You can use whatever yarn you have on hand, as long as it’s similar in weight. If you don’t have a tapestry needle, you can use a safety pin or another sharp object to weave in the ends. The key is to get creative with what you have!
