My Bohemian Crochet Pillow Pattern makes use of the popular crochet granite stitch. The crochet granite stitch is a really popular stitch with a striking or subtle appearance. Best of all it's super easy to make!
You can change out the colors to whatever you like, or keep it one color! After you get familiar with the stitch you can try making different things with the stitch! Like my Fingerless Glove Pattern.
Instructions
Round 1: Ch x66 +1 turning chain. (66 +1)
Round 2: In the second ch from hook, make a sc, ch + skip the chain below, and make a sc into the next chain. Repeat for the rest of the row. When you get to the last crochet on the end make sc, ch, then turn the piece so the opposite side of the chain that hasn’t been worked is now on top, then sc into the same chain your last sc went into. So that end stitch should be sc,ch,sc. Crochet the rest of the round like you did in the first part. (68)
Round 3: You are going to switch colors as outlined above in my list of colors used by making a sc in the last rows chain loop (not the chain but its entirety) when yarning over after inserting the hook into the stitch, yarn over with a new color and pull the new color through.
After starting the round with a sc, ch and skip the previous rounds sc, and then sc into the chain loop below.
For every round you are going to ch over the previous rows sc and sc into the chain gaps (not the actual ch) Switching colors for every pass.
Round 4-50: Repeat round 3 but with different colors each time.
When the pillow is as big as you want it, fasten off the last color but leave a long tail for sewing, sew the top of the pillow shut, remembering to stuff the pillow along the way. And your bohemian crochet pillow is all ready to use!
