Instructions
The crochet flower keychain pattern is made in the round.
Round 1: With yarn color A, make a mr, then sc x6.
After, make a sl st to the first sc but change the color to yarn color B when pulling through the stitch. (6). Fasten off yarn color A but leave about 18 inches of yarn for embroidering the center at the end.
Round 2: *Ch x2.
Then dc 8 together in the same stitch you made the chains.
To do this make a dc in the same stitch but only go through the first 2 loops when you are finishing off the stitch (it should be half completed) then yarn over and make another half completed dc. Do this for a total of 8 times, you should have 9 loops on your hook.
Now yarn over and go through all loops on the hook and make a ch to secure the puffy stitch closed.
Now make another ch x2 and sl st into the next sc from the last round. *
Repeat from * 5 more times or until the end of the round. Make sure you make a sl st to the beginning and then fasten off your yarn.optional: Push the puff stitches to the front side, gently do this by flipping each one with your fingers.
Finishing:
With the long tail you left from the first yarn color and a needle, embroider over the middle circle so no hole is visible.
Add a keychain to one of the flower petals, or with a yarn tail. Weave in any ends.
