Yarn Under: This crochet croissant pattern is made by yarning under, if that is too hard for you, you can do normal single crochet stitches by yarning over. Yarning under makes the stitches tighter so if you switch it to yarn over be aware that the proportions of the croissant might be off.
Sewing: Each section of this crochet croissant pattern is made separately and sewn together. You may need pins or the little dowels to hold each piece in place as you sew it.
Size: The finished amigurumi croissant is roughly 8 inches wide and 4 inches tall. If you use chunky yarn it will be much bigger.

Crochet Mini Beret Hat:
This uses both the 5mm hook and 3mm hook so be aware of what is written in the pattern.
Round 1: With the red yarn and 5mm hook, make a mr and then sc x8 into the circle. Pull tight (8).
Round 2: Inc in every stitch (16).
Round 3: Inc, sc. Then repeat for the rest of the round (24).
Round 4: Inc, sc x2. Then repeat for the rest of the round (32).
Round 5: Dec in every stitch (16).
Round 6: Dec in every stitch (8).
Top of the Beret:
With the 3mm hook, ch x3, then in the second ch from the hook make a sl st. Then make a sl st into the following chain. Fasten off and leave tails for sewing. Sew the top of the beret to the middle of the beret hat. And now the beret is finished.
Sewing:
Pin the croissant medium sections to the SIDES of the large section at the bottom. Once in a desired position, sew the middle sections to the large section. Make sure that you stuff these sections with polyfill before you are done sewing it closed.
Once both sides are done, you can pin the small sections to the croissant.
Place the small sections at the bottom of the croissants sides, but have them just a little bit angled so they droop a little bit. This is a subtle curve that helps give the croissant its iconic shape. Sew and fill.
Once both sides are done the main body of the croissant is finished!
Sew on the beret at an angle at the top of the croissants head.
Add the mustache 2 stitches down from the safety eyes. You want to have the mustache centered as best as you can.
After everything is sewn together, the crochet croissant is finished!
