Instructions

  • The pattern for crochet Christmas tree skirt will be in rounds.
  • Round 1: With 2 strands of red yarn, chain 48. Then sl st to the first ch to close the loop (48).

  • Round 3: Ch x2, the dc inc in the next stitch. Then dc x4 and repeat for the rest of the round. Sl st to the first dc in the round (72).
  • Round 4: Ch x2, the dc inc in the next stitch. Then dc x5 and repeat for the rest of the round. Sl st to the first dc in the round (84).
  • Round 5: Ch x2, the dc inc in the next stitch. Then dc x6 and repeat for the rest of the round. Sl st to the first dc in the round (96).
  • Round 6: Ch x2, the dc inc in the next stitch. Then dc x7 and repeat for the rest of the round. Sl st to the first dc in the round (108).
  • Round 7: Ch x2, the dc inc in the next stitch. Then dc x8 and repeat for the rest of the round. Sl st to the first dc in the round (120).
  • Round 8: Ch x2, the dc inc in the next stitch. Then dc x9 and repeat for the rest of the round. Sl st to the first dc in the round (132).
  • Round 9: Ch x2, the dc inc in the next stitch. Then dc x10 and repeat for the rest of the round. Sl st to the first dc in the round (144).

  • Round 15: Ch x2, the dc inc in the next stitch. Then dc x16 and repeat for the rest of the round. Sl st to the first dc in the round (216). Then fasten off the red yarns and join ONE strand of the white fluffy yarn. The fluffy yarn is a bulky yarn and can be used as one strand.
  • Round 16: Ch x2, the dc inc in the next stitch. Then dc x17 and repeat for the rest of the round. Sl st to the first dc in the round (228).
  • Round 17: Ch x2, the dc inc in the next stitch. Then dc x18 and repeat for the rest of the round. Sl st to the first dc in the round (240). Then fasten off the white yarn and weave in any ends.
