Notes
The 4 leaf clover crochet pattern is designed for small shamrocks and four-leaf clovers.
Use scrap yarn or any shade of green.
Appliques made with worsted yarn; adaptable to chunky or super chunky for size variation.
Finished size: approximately 2 inches.
Use the four-leaf clover pattern for small shamrocks with 3 leaves.
Extend the chain for a keychain or bookmark.
Instructions
The 4 leaf clover crochet pattern is meant to be for 3 and 4 leaf clovers.
Step 1:
First, ch x10
Step 2:
Then in the 5th chain from the hook make a sl st.
Step 3:
Then ch x3
Step 4:
Then tr x3 into the loop you just created.
Step 5:
Then ch x3.
Step 6:
Then make a sl st into the hole.
Step 7:
Repeat step 2-6, 3 or 4 more times.
Step 8:
Next, sl st to the ch and then sl st the rest of the chain. When you get to the end of the chain, fasten off and then weave in the end.
And now you know how to crochet a 4 leaf clover and shamrock applique.
